With minimal supplies and even less effort, I transformed faded floral into something more vintage that I could use.

I removed the old copper foil edge trim with my BARE HANDS. Okay, and I used my fingernails to scrape away some of the more stubborn gunky spots.
I then wiped the front and back surface of the two panes of glass with a paper towel moistened with window cleaner.
With both edges beveled, we get dual display sides. I chose a vintage map theme. I decided to use two different maps, because...why not?
I arranged my two panes of glass, traced with a pencil, and cut with a utility knife.
Then I stuck my two pieces of paper together, design-side out. I used double-sided tape inbetween the papers so they didn't budge. I also used a paper clamp.
I applied the foil coated edging tape. It's self adhesive. You can find it at many craft stores near stained glass supplies. I did one side at a time, just overlapping a little at each edge. The paper binding clips really came in handy during this step.
